Walk with Faith (2021)

Nya Gyidie means « Have faith ». It is the Adinkra symbol of faith, hope and belief. It is a very popular symbol among the Akan people as « it is a constant reminder that you can always make it through the most difficult times of your life provided your hold onto hope and not lose sight of what is important » (Adinkrabrand.com). 
Nya Gyidie is pictured here as gold pendents attached to ankle bracelets made of hematite pearls. This is faith, hope and belief lifting the walker's feet on each step of the journey lead and supported by Gye Nyame.
